Although Vietnam is a developing country and we visit some remote places, the quality of accommodation has improved greatly. In small towns we stay at local private guest houses, each double room will have air conditioning, private bath, hot water and mosquito nets on each bed. In some locations local home stays are available where the sleeping arrangements are made usually in a house-on-stilts all in one room. Each person will have a mattress, pillow and mosquito net with a shared toilet / shower in an out building. Silk sleeping sheets are available from Shops in Hanoi.
We provide quality Vietnamese food on tour and take in the local seasonal specialties where available. Breakfast usually consist of a Pho Bo (noodle soup), My Thom (packaged noodles) or Eggs and bread with Jam. At lunch we provide picnic with bread, imported deli meats and cheese and “special supplies” we bring with us from Hanoi, It’s great stopping on a mountain pass or by a waterfall to take lunch and enjoy the view. Dinner is local fare with rice, tofu, vegetable and meat (pork, beef, buffalo or Chicken)
Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions we will do our best to accommodate There is rice and vegetables, eggs and tofu for vegetarian diets.

Ho Chi Minh Trail Sidecar Tour
7 Days 7 Nights All Inclusive
Ride the Ho Chi Minh Trail and experience the history and culture of Vietnam on a classic Ural Sidecar bike. The Ho Chi Minh Trail was a strategic network of paths and roads that supplied southern battlefields during the War, and parts of this network have now been upgraded to form the Ho Chi Minh Highway.
The Ho Chi Minh Trail Ural Sidecar tours offers bikers one of the best motorcycling roads in Southeast Asia, as it traverses the Annamite Mountains that form a natural border between Vietnam and Laos. Our route passes through historic locations from the war, at least three World Heritage sites, pristine jungle and offers easy access to the beaches on the coast. Special Off Road Adventures
We stop in at Phong Nha national park, where explorers recently found the world’s largest cave, visit Khe Sanh and the former DMZ, and spend time in the former imperial capital at Hue and the historic trading port of Hoi An. Our route also takes advantage of the good hotels dotted along Vietnam’s long coastline, and includes a ride over the glorious Hai Van pass.
Motorbikers can finish the ride in Hoi An, or retrace the steps of the Top Gear route for another week to reach Saigon. This longer ride continues on good roads to take in the Central Highlands, Nha Trang, Dalat and Phan Thiet.
It takes a minimum of six days to ride the Ho Chi Minh Trail from Hanoi to Hoi An, and 12 days to ride from Hanoi to Saigon. We strongly recommend taking some extra time for some R&R in the World Heritage sites of Phong Nha, Hue and Hoi An.
